Ginger root is good medicine for many discomforts including intestinal gas. Ginger root contains digestive enzymes and stimulates saliva production. Eating ginger pieces with salt throughout the day will keep you away from gas problems.

As someone who suffers from gas, I appreciate this article. However, using peppermint, while it will help expel gas, does so by relaxing the smooth muscles of the system. If you have a problem with regurgitation of acid (acid reflux), peppermint can make that worse.

One of the home remedy that I know for Gas problem is Carom seeds + black salt with Luke warm water just after 15 min. of breakfast, lunch, and / or dinner. This simple remedy will definitely takes the gas problem to end.
